Since Pop!_OS moves to its own desktop enviroment (COSMIC DE) and I left linux behind me this extension will not get continued. If someone is willing to port the extension to Gnome 45, get in touch with me on the repository page on GitHub.
If you want to change the support manually, modify '~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/pop-launcher-super-key@ManeLippert/metadata.json' under 'shell-version' add the desired version (e.g '44' for GNOME 44).
